LS: Introduce yourself, please. What do you do at the studio? GP: Grandpeople consists of three individuals who met at Bergen Academy of the Arts and Design six years ago. We are Magnus Voll Mathiassen, Magnus Helgesen and Christian Strand Bergheim. Our working days differ. Right now, Magnus H is at a workshop, supervising and helping making some huge letters which are going to be a part of a local venue´s scenography for a music festival. A part of the visual profile. Christian and I am just doing the typical graphic designer-things at the office. The thing is, we try the best we can to stay away from the computers and the software. We like working with physical things. It can just be pen and paper for that sake. The computer is just for executing the job. And such working philosophy is something we try to maintain whether it is just for a small illustration jobs or a visual identity for a company. | |
